Gal 1:10 "Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ."
Observation: This verse was showing me that a lot of times we say that we are devoted to God but deep down we are still holding on to what our friends think of us. We still want the approval of our friends and that causes us to hold back from going fully for God. Paul is saying that it is impossible to do both, we simply cannot seek the approval of both men and God. God doesn't want to share us half way with anyone, He desires to have our full commitment so that He is able to transform us into the person he wants us to be.
